The Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin VISTA program looks for passionate, committed, and hardworking individuals to strengthen affiliates and increase their capacity. Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. HFHWRA believes affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities and brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
The goal of the Home Repair VISTAs is to develop a home repairs program to help low-income homeowners safely and affordably remain in their homes. As a VISTA, you will recruit volunteers, conduct community outreach to homeowners, and help raise funds to support the program.
