Mentor Superior is seeking positive adult role models to spend time with youth in the Duluth/ Superior community. Amanda, age 16 said " My mentor has helped me become who I am today. She has given me confidence, and I couldn't imagine my life without her." Thor, mentor since 2010 said, "It is amazing how much you learn and develop as a mentor.
Additional Requirements: Are you?
· 18 years of age or older and graduated high school?
· Able to have access to a reliable means of transportation
· Able to pass a criminal background check?
· Wanting to have fun with a child and be a positive adult role model?
If you answered yes to all of the above questions, Mentor Duluth is right for you!! Minimum time commitment of 8-12 hours a month for one calendar year. Mentors are assigned a Program Advocate who provides support and advice. Matches meet one on one in the community and mentors take on an independent role in communicating with the mentee's family and coordinating activities.
