A volunteer Communications Team member produces content for New Leaf Foods, adhering to our organization’s communication strategies, values and goals. Working with the Communications Team Lead, Communications Coordinator and other team members, this volunteer will have the opportunity to inform our community on local, healthy foods and resources, as well as our events and projects.
Communication Team’s Goals: Promote our vision: good food for good health, now and for generations Promote a clean environment for all Create connections between local consumers, farmers and producers Work collaboratively with community, civic, business and educational institutions Celebrate healthy local foods and farms Provide local consumers with information on how to access local healthy food Possible Communications Team Member Responsibilities: Create social media content Work on monthly newsletters Updating and creating content for our website Write and edit articles, blog posts, press releases Attend local healthy food-related events to gather information, represent our organization and take photos or videos *Flexible.
