Marshfield Child Advocacy Center

Marshfield Child Advocacy Center (MCAC) is a facility with specialized staff, which offers comprehensive developmental and physical evaluations for children potentially in need of protection. With a collaborative community approach, services provided by our team not only further enhance the investigative process, but also allow for the recognition, treatment, and/or referral to medical, social, behavioral, and educational problems.

MCAC provides services to community agencies aimed at enhancing investigations of child maltreatment, including forensic interviewing of potential child victims in an age appropriate and child friendly setting, as well as allowing for interaction and cooperation amongst agencies. In best case scenarios, we are able to reassure family, caregivers, and especially the patients that they are whole and healthy.
