The Hospice Volunteer - Patient Visitor Volunteer

We depend on our Hospice Volunteers to help us provide the love, respect and care our patients and families need. Some volunteers interact directly with patients and families. As a volunteer, you would help us decide which tasks you are comfortable performing.

Our volunteers may perform some of the following services to enrich the lives of our patient:

• Reading
• Providing a comforting touch
• Provide a friendly visit to lift patient spirits
• Playing or singing soothing music
• Running errands
• Walking their dog
• Prepare a light lunch or snack
• Staying with patient so family members can take a break
