The Salvation Army Angel Tree campaign is a holiday program designed to raise in-kind gifts to assist families who are experiencing financial difficulties and provide them with the resources to celebrate Christmas. Seasonal Assistance programs exist due to the generosity of the La Crosse Community. It is through donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and foundations that we are able to offer this assistance to individuals and families in need. The Salvation Army is deeply thankful for the many partners who help us make these programs possible and to the many volunteers who assist us in the registration and distribution for these programs. It’s such a bright time of year! Volunteers help us sort the hundreds of gifts and bags that come in, as well as help prepare food boxes for the hundreds of families and individuals!
