This volunteer opportunity is for Monday (every other week), Wednesday, Thursday (every other week), or Friday afternoons 12:30-3:15pm. We are looking for volunteers to commit to a once a week or once every other week schedule. Food Distribution involves either shopping with a client, packing for express pick up, or stocking shelves. Volunteers must be able to stand for the whole shift and lift up to 30 lbs occasionaly (repeatedly if in the stocker role). These are fast pace roles so that clients can move through the pantry in a timely manner. This is a very busy volunteer position. Training will be provided.
