Waukesha Overflow Shelter to be Updated - Volunteer to Get the Building Ready

Expired

Description

The Housing Action Coalition of Waukesha County and United Way opened a Waukesha Winter Overflow Shelter (WWOS) for women and families in Waukesha County in 2019.  We are now ready to do some remodeling and we need your assistance.  The activities to get the building ready for construction will include but not limited to gathering & moving furniture, boxing office supplies, kitchen, and household items to be moved to the basement of the facility.  You will also assist with discarding any additional items that will not be used for future guests to the dumpster on site.  You will be supported by a member of The Housing Action Coalition for Waukesha County during your shift.

Please find the shifts below to sign-up today. We estimate needing 2-3 shifts depending on size of teams but we have a variety to select from.  You will be contacted to confirm your shift and to answer any additional questions.
