Many household items, children’s games, toys, and art supplies were recently donated to JFS Housing to be distributed to residents in need! We are looking for volunteers to sort the items to determine what is worth keeping based on what is needed by the residents. After sorting, volunteers will call families and facilitate the pick up of items. Volunteers will keep a record of what items are selected and the information of the residents that selected them.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own masks if they have one, but if not, they will be provided with one. Gloves and hand sanitizer will be provided. Families will be asked to wear masks and gloves when picking up items and if they do not have them, they will be made available to families.
Volunteers under the age of 18 are welcome! A signed parental consent form must be completed before the start of the shift.
