Come be a Farmer for a Day at The Hunger Task Force Farm in Franklin!
Last season, almost 5,000 volunteers helped farmers grow 471,750 pounds of fresh produce that was then distributed throughout Milwaukee - free of charge!
Volunteers help farmers with a variety of activities, including: seeding, transplanting, weeding, trail restoration, invasive species maintenance, harvesting and washing produce.
Activity requires lifting, twisting, bending, and volunteers to be on their feet for the entire three-hour activity.
Come join us at The Hunger Task Force Farm and help feed Milwaukee's at-risk population.
