Join us to honor Martin Luther King Jr as we commit an entire day to serving children through Project Linus.
On Monday, January 21st, we will be in Nursing Center 104 from 9am-6pm. We invite the Viterbo family and larger community to join us as we knit 5" x 5" squares. These squares are combined to form larger security blankets that are donated to children in need through Project Linus. To learn more about Project Linus, CLICK HERE.
Don't know how to knit? No worries! We will have Viterbo staff present throughout the day to help (re)teach folks who need a little extra support. Already an experienced knitter? Feel free to join us as for as much of the day as you can.
Throughout the day, we will have opportunities to watch videos/documentaries that relate back to Dr. King's efforts and the battle for equality which continues today. People are invited to join us for as much (or as little) of the day as you can. Feel free to drop by during lunch, in between classes, or after the work day!
