Do you know how to play an instrument and/or enjoy singing? we are looking for more special individuals in Kenosha and Racine County to join our growing team of superstar volunteers! Musician volunteers enrich the lives of hospice patients in their area by sharing their talents during regular visits. In addition to providing music, volunteers provide much needed socialization and one-on-one support. Service hours are flexible and scheduled according to your location and availability. Qualifications of musician volunteers: must be 18 years or older; agree to a background/reference check; and attend an orientation to learn more about the philosophy of hospice and our company, the role of the volunteer and communicating with hospice patients and their families. Volunteers must complete 2-step TB testing. Travel is required for this role, reliable transportation is a must.
