Card Games

Join us from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm on July 7, 2018 to have some fun and chew the fat while playing cards with residents at Homme Home for the Aging.  This program will be led by Homme Home staff.  Volunteers will assist staff by playing cards with the residents (games will vary based on resident interests and abilities).  They will also visit and reminisce with residents. Volunteers will also assist residents to and from the program. Ideal candidates for this position are able to walk and push a wheelchair, are familiar with card games like euchre, sheepshead, cribbage, war, etc., and feel comfortable socializing with residents.
