Join Homme Home staff, residents, and volunteers for afternoon bingo. This game is a longtime favorite and a much anticipated semi-weekly activity. Volunteers assist residents to the main dining room for bingo. During the game, volunteers will assist residents as needed. Some residents struggle to see their cards where as others need assistance to place their chips on their cards. When the fun is over, volunteers will assist residents returning to their rooms or transitioning to other activities in the building. The ideal candidate for this activity is able to provide support to residents in a small group setting, pay attention to multiple details at one time, and offer gentle encouragement as needed for successful participation in the game. All volunteers must complete an application and pass a background check prior to volunteering.
