Personal Shopper

Do you have a few extra minutes while running errands to complete our residents' (short) shopping lists?  Homme Home for the Aging is seeking six volunteers who are able and willing to pick up incidental items for residents. We all have a favorite lotion, shampoo, or toothpaste that life just isn't the same without. For our residents, getting out and about to pick them up is a challenge. Volunteers would receive shopping lists from the Director of Activities.  They would also be either reimbursed upon their return with the items or would receive petty cash to use to make the purchases.  All volunteers for Homme Home must complete an application and pass a background check.  Volunteers for this position will receive additional training on money handling practice.  If you would like to help or would like more information, please contact Frances or Devin.  They can be reached by phone at 715-253-2125 or by email at francess@homme.org or devinm@homme.org.
