Laughter is the Best Medicine

Join Homme Home staff and residents to celebrate the times we laughed until we cried and made our bellies sore for days! This program is designed to encourage residents to reflect on times past and to keep memories of good times and loved ones alive. Volunteers will assist staff by conversing with residents and helping to draw out the good times of old.  Ideal candidates for this position are able to listen and facilitate conversations. They can think on their feet to draw people into the conversation and to redirect it when necessary.  All volunteers for Homme Home must complete an application and pass a background check.
