Children's Festival Preparation Crew

Volunteers are needed between 9 am and noon on Thursday, August 17th to prepare for our upcoming Children's Festival to be held on Saturday, August 26th at Myrick Park.  The Children's Festival provides opportunities for "real play" (play that is open-ended, child-direction, and uses natural materials) for children ages 0-8 and their families.  The Children's Festival Preparation Crew will assemble necklace kits for the Teddy Bear Picnic area (cut string and package it with cereal in a baggie) and will cut old dress fabric for streamers to decorate the festival area.  Repetitive work, but lots of fun for a group!
