Mayor Tom Barrett, the Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative, and its partnering organizations are hosting the annual Fatherhood Summit on October 6th and 7th, 2017. The theme of this year's Summit will be "Developing a legacy for your family," and the purpose of the event is to bring men together to discuss the issue of fatherlessness; identify solutions and resources; promote positive images of the father role and gather data to help address the many external and internal obstacles that prevent men from being involved fathers.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: To have a successful event, volunteers are needed for the following tasks:
- Greeter/Hall Monitors
- Assist Vendors/Hospitality
- Registration Area
- Clean-up
- Security
- Session Attendant
- Coach for a Day
- Parking Attendant
- Floater/As needed
If interested in volunteering, please specify which role, and which shift you're available. Please note that the Thursday night, October 5th shift is set-up only.
Volunteer registration ends on September 22nd.
