We are preparing for our 1st annual event: Sips & Shovels: An Evening to Benefit WisCorps
The biggest project to accomplish is turning Buckthorn, an invasive species in the Marsh, into art. We will be creating Buckthorn coasters to use at our event. This process includes: cutting the tree slices, staining, sealing, branding with WisCorps logo, gluing felt strips and information tags.
We could use volunteer help with this and other preparations for the event including: setting up tables/chairs/room arrangements, building or putting out decorations, and cleaning.
Feel free to attend an entire shift from noon-4pm or part of one. Any help is greatly appreciated!
