Licensed cosmetologists, barbers or cosmetology students are needed to provide occasional haircuts or styling to Agrace HospiceCare patients in patients' homes or in long-term care facilities. Sometimes hospice patients are unable to leave their homes for haircuts or styling; in other circumstances, patients would like to have hair styled for an upcoming event (birthday/anniversary).
Additional Requirements: The requirements for this volunteer position include the following: Complete the volunteer application process and a 4-hour training course, which is provided by Agrace HospiceCare. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and must complete a 2-step TB test with annual screening.
