Hospice Volunteer

Hospice is about living each day to the fullest. It's about helping individuals dying of terminal illness live each day in a pain-free environment, with dignity and peace. As a hospice volunteer, you can be a part of this incredible journey. Volunteers are currently needed throughout the Northwoods to support hospice patients and their loved ones.  Additional Requirements: Volunteers must take a 1 day a week for 6 weeks course, usually offered in the Fall and Spring. After the Training is complete you are to have an interview with Volunteer/Community Outreach Coordinator, from there a background check is performed and the volunteer trainee is to go to Employee health for a TB test and Titers lab.
