Youth Sports & Play Coach

Youth sports & play coaches instruct, coach, and supervise sports programs for ages K-5th grade children. The Y offers a wide variety of coaching opportunities-flag football, soccer, basketball, baseball, gymnastics, dance team, tennis, and martial arts.Y youth programs emphasize good sportsmanship, fair play, age appropriate skills, and fun. Additional Requirements: Volunteers need to be mature high school or adults with a passion for working with youth. Sports specific knowledge is beneficial but not required. All Y volunteers must complete a volunteer application or have one on file. A background check is done on all Y volunteers.
