Food Pantry-Guest Services Team Member

As our Food Pantry Attendant for Guest Services, you will be in charge of a variety of operations that will assist our team in working more effectively. This role will require good communication, customer service & access control monitoring.

• Greet/welcome pantry participants, giving out number cards to persons as they enter the space, guiding them to the intake/appropriate area. 
• Work with volunteers, staff, and others in the area to keep the number flipchart updated in correlation with the pantry number cards. Call out the next number
• Clean and reset number cards throughout the shift and return to intake.
• Monitor the waiting area and inform staff and/or supervisor of any safety violations that may need to be addressed by the supervisor/staff member
• Light cleaning and organization of the waiting area, including: wiping seating/kids area/surfaces, light sweeping as needed, tidying up resource tables.
• Assist staff with updating resources/changing outdated resources (bulletin boards, resource tables), cutting out resources as needed
