3-4 Volunteers can sign up on a first-come, first-served basis; dates are optional.
First Thursdays of Each Month 9 am-11 am
Community Closet Responsibilities:
● Work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff members to ensure a safe and efficient setup. We also ask that everyone wash their hands before & after working with donated items or wear gloves if they desire.
●Assist staff with sorting and organizing clothing items by size, category, and seasonal style.
● Properly inspect clothing for any damage or stains before placing them in the stacks for folding, racks, or storage. Keep in mind that all donations must be handled with care.
● While sorting and organizing, make sure you place them in their designated section, and those get marked or labeled accordingly.
● Diapers must also be placed on racks or storage areas organized & sorted by size.
