The Department of World Languages and Literatures at UW-Stevens Point is hosting the 2024 World Languages Fair, open to students who enjoy exploring world cultures. This event will host up to 500 middle and high school students.
Set-up staff will arrive at 9:00 a.m., facilitators at 9:30 a.m. and clean-up staff will be asked to stay until 12:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed to help greet and direct participants. There are language conversation tables in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish. Volunteers may help lead cultural craft projects or encourage students to learn dances. School groups might need assistance with way finding. Assistance is needed with event clean-up.
The event runs from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. in the UWSP Dreyfus University Center Laird Room.
