The Burnett County Historical Society provides educational opportunities to the public by researching, preserving, and teaching the history of Burnett County, Wisconsin.
The Burnett County Historical Society operates Forts Folle Avoine Historical Park near Danbury, WI. The park includes a North West Company and XY Company Fur Posts, an Ojibwe village, a Logging Museum, A one-room schoolhouse, a Blacksmith Shop, fur trade and ojibwe museums, and a gift shop. The mission of the park is to educate the public about the Fur Trade era in Wisconsin, as well as other Burnett County and Wisconsin History.
