Who We Are
Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The YMCA of the Northwoods was chartered in 1999. Through fundraising efforts we raised funds to build a facility in 2004 which has a gym, aerobic studio, wellness center, drop in childcare, daycare, preschool, and swimming pool.
What We Do
The YMCA of the Northwoods is a non-profit Christian organization that is committed to providing affordable, high quality programs and facilities to the community and is open to men, women, and children of all ages, races, and religion. We provide programs for families and individuals in the Oneida, Vilas and Forest Counties. Individuals are never turned away from participating in programs or memberships. the YMCA of the Northwoods provides scholarships for families and individuals so they may participate as member or in programs.
