Who We Are
UW-Oshkosh Vet Corps engages members of the community in meaningful community service at various non-profit locations throughout the Fox Valley area. Beginning it's 3rd year of activity, the UW-Oshkosh Vet Corps program began as a local Oshkosh AmeriCorps program. Since then, the program has expanded to service from Green Bay to Fond Du Lac.
What We Do
In keeping with the goals of the Vet Corps program, Vet Corps members who are enrolled college student and either a veteran themselves or an immediate family member of a veteran are placed in various community non-profit organizations. The members' goals are to increase the level of volunteer engagement throughout the community. Members actively seek the assistance of community volunteers in helping with these tasks and events.
