Who We Are

Treehaven is the Wisconsin center for integrating natural resources education, management, research and recreation. Our philosophy is to provide top-notch facilities, education, and service in a relaxed northwoods atmosphere. Founded in 1985 through a generous donation of 960 acres of WI northwoods, by Dory & Jacque Vallier. Treehaven became the first permanent home of the UWSP college of Natural Resources undergraduate summer field training program that is held here every summer, in addition to community & school programs, and Elderhostel.
