Who We Are
The mission of SouthernCare is to assure that residents of its service locales have access to a program of care that enhances the quality of life for the terminally ill and their families. Care of the whole person is emphasized by providing physical, spiritual, and emotional support to all medically appropriate persons, without discrimination. SouthernCare stands for excellence in hospice care. Since opening our first office in south Alabama in 1995. SouthernCare has grown into one of the largest hospice companies in the nation, providing hospice care to 75 communities in 15 states.
What We Do
SouthernCare is a hospice provider. We service individuals with a life limiting illness. We provide care where they call home; Assisted Living Facilities, Nursing Homes, or in their own home. Our care team for each patient consists of; Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Chaplain, Hospice Aide, and Volunteers.
