Who We Are

Rhinelander Lions are a local organization affiliated with Lions International. Our mission is to help the blind and visually impaired and participate in local community endeavors. Our motto is "We Serve" The Rhinelander Lions have been serving this area for 70 years and an unknown tidbit is that the Rhinelander Lions started the Hodag 50, a cross country snowmobile race that through a series of changes, resulted in what today is the Eagle River Snowmobile Racing that is the World Championship today.

What We Do

The Rhinelander Lions have a number of fundraisers that we use to fund state, district and local functions that help the visually impaired, scholarships, cornea transplant, eyeglass fund and numerous other functions. We also assist the Local food pantries, Christmas Not Alone, gifts for the elderly and many other civic participation. Participation is sought for serving food at the County Fair, annual Fisheree, Christmas Not Alone, Country Fest parking etc. We are a vibrant member of the local community that strives to recruit new members that can participate at whatever level they choose.
