Who We Are
The Oneida Co. Senior Center strives to enhance the quality of life for adults, age 50 and older, and promotes positive attitudes toward aging. The Center fosters the social, physical, and emotional well-being of adults by providing educational and support services and offering intergenerational, recreational, cultural and volunteer opportunities. The Oneida Co. Senior Center has been in it's current location for about 25 years and prior to that was located at the Oneida Co. Airport. As activities and services have grown, the space to provide them has not, often making scheduling a dilemma. Change should be coming again in about February when the Center is expecting to move to their new location at the former Northern Advantage Job Center building. This will be a more centrally located facility with much needed updates.
What We Do
The Oneida Co. Senior Center together with the Oneida Co. Dept. on Aging offers a full array of services and activities from daily meals (Mon. - Fri.) transportation, assistance with insurance issues and taxes, to arts and crafts, cards and games, book club, social events, educational presentations and meetings, fitness programs, foot care, and support groups.
