Northwoods Children's Museum

The mission of the Northwoods Children's Museum is to enrich lives, support families and encourage a life-long love of learning through interactive play. The Northwoods Children's Museum was founded in 1994 and opened its doors in 1998. Located in Eagle River, this facility is the only children's museum located in the northern half of Wisconsin and Western half of the U.P of Michigan.

The museum values the importance of play for children, therefore it provides hands-on educational exhibits, workshops and special programs to provide play opportunities to promote learning and life skills. Where as play has become a birth right to all children, the Northwoods Children's Museum provides a safe, fun, environment for families to explore through child-driven play.
