Who We Are

Our Mission as an integral part of Ministry Health Care is to further the healing ministry of Jesus by continually improving the health and well being of all people, especially the poor, in the communities we serve. 1974 was the year Hospice began in the United States, in 1975 the National Hospice Organization(NHO) Board of Directors formed. Finally in 1983 the Hospice Medicare Benefit began and Hospice started to evolve in many locations since then.

What We Do

Vision Statement: Ministry Home Care is the leader in home-based services that are comprehensive, holistic, innovative, and unparalleled. We are a dynamic, self-sustaining organization. We achieve this vision through:

  • Exceptional employees, who are dedicated, compassionate experts in their field.
  • Services that consistently exceed our customers' expectations.
  • Partnerships with affiliated organizations, communities we serve, and industry colleagues.
  • State-of-the-art technology that enhances service delivery and provision of care.

Hospice is about living each day to the fullest. It's about helping individuals dying of terminal illnesses live each day to the fullest in a pain-free environment, with dignity and peace. Volunteers are a crucial component of the holistic care provided by the hospice team; they fill incredibly important roles every single day, and our agency could not function without them.
