Kids And Mentors Outdoors-Rusk County

Kids and Mentors Outdoors mission is to provide outdoor activities with adult mentor guidance to youth and/or families who may otherwise not have the opportunity to do these activities. These activities can include hiking, hunting, outdoor exploration, wildlife viewing, geocashing and biking. The KAMO goal is to get youth out exploring the great outdoors! Kids and Mentors of Wisconsin was envisioned by Mark Walters, a syndicated outdoor adventures writer from Necedah, WI. He recognized the need for an organization in which adult members who have passed a background check are able to take children on outdoor activities.

Kids and Mentors Outdoors is an organization of adult outdoors men and women mentors who organize and implement outdoor activities to promote families/youth involvement. These mentors have passed background checks. Activities include: fishing, canoeing, camping, hunting, wildlife viewing, and hiking. This non-profit group is welcomes other outdoor enthusiasts who wish to share their love of nature with others. Relationships form over sharing life adventures in the great outdoors!
