Who We Are

The purpose of this non-profit charitable organization shall be to render support to Anderson Farm County Park through programs and activities that promote and enhance the components outlined in the related park master plan produced by the Dane County Parks Department, and to provide input to the implementation of the elements and tasks of that plan.

What We Do

Anderson Park Friends (APF), Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization, located in Oregon, WI to support the development of Anderson Farm County Park according to the master plan created by the Dane County Parks Department. The organization consists of 65 members and is led by a 5 member board. APF was created in September 2013 and is incorporated in the State of Wisconsin. Our by-laws describe the operation of the organization. An annual membership meeting is to be held each October. The IRS designated APF as a 501 (c)(3) organization in November 2014. EIN number: 46-3740061 The initial acreage for the park was purchased in 2009 and increased to over 380 acres in December 2013. This new undeveloped park is located at the corner of Union Road and County Highway A in the Town of Oregon.
