Who We Are
Mission: To help adults and families acquire the reading, writing, math, English language, computer, and workforce skills they need to function effectively as workers and community members.
Literacy Green Bay is a non-profit organization that provides valuable resources and programming to English-language learners, GED students, immigrants seeking citizenship, and other community adults in search of fundamental literacy services to improve their quality of life. They are given the educational tools they need to become engaged, self-sufficient parents, employees and community members. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
“Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.” — Marjorie Moore
