Cycling Without Age Door County

Cycling Without Age is a global non-profit movement starting in 2012 in Copenhagen, Denmark by Ole Kassow. We are honored to be an affiliate chapter of this organization. We are bringing the mission of promoting well-being and connection to our local community by offering free trishaw rides to older adults and people with varying mobility needs. We ride along the scenic roads, parks and waterfronts that make Door County unique.

We give free trishaw rides to seniors and people with disabilities of all ages throughout Door County. We currently own four electric assist trishaws that are located at or near our routes. We train individuals each Spring in mid-May to become our pilots and give rides to residents and clients in our partner agencies, the local aging in place community and visitors to the county. Our ride season begins mid-May and goes through mid-October. Each ride is designed to create space for connection, enjoy fresh air, and allow for meaningful memory making.
