Who We Are
Once a farm for the Schlitz Brewery draft horses, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is Milwaukee’s comprehensive nature center. We offer six miles of trails that take visitors through forests, wetlands, restored prairies, ravines, bluffs, and Lake Michigan shoreline.
What We Do
Our primary volunteer opportunity is working outdoors restoring and improving natural habitat. Volunteers work with our Land Management team to maintain our beautiful 185-acre nature preserve.
