Who We Are
Phantom Lake YMCA Camp is committed to its goal of ensuring that any kid, regardless of race, sexual orientation, religion, disability, ethnicity, or gender identity, has the opportunity to attend a traditional summer camp. Attending summer camp can have a large impact on a child's life as it creates opportunities for meaningful social experiences and outdoor recreation. Every summer we provide a space for children to be their authentic selves while learning new skills and knowledge they can carry with them long after they leave the physical borders of camp. Our Inclusion Program recruits and offers scholarships to marginalized youth, children from low-income families, and individuals with disabilities and special needs. Inclusion is a core part of our mission and we understand how important it is to go beyond statements and put these goals into action. We are committed to continuing to put our plans and visions into action. We continue to seek out the best practices and connect with resources to best support all of our campers.
What We Do
Phantom Lake YMCA Camp is one of America’s oldest independent year-round YMCA Camps. Through camp-related and community facilities and programs, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp utilizes Christian Principles to provide the opportunity for both children and adults to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially in accordance with Luke 2:52 “...And Jesus advance in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and Man.”
