Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency - AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP

Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency, Inc. AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP is one of 17 Wisconsin projects federally funded by AmeriCorps Seniors and is sponsored locally by NWCSA since 1972. We cover the counties of Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, and Iron Counties in Northwest Wisconsin. The mission of AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP is engaging persons, 55 and better, in meeting critical needs that strengthen our community, improve our lives, and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering. We help connect volunteers with the people and organizations that need them.

Since the beginning of the program, volunteers have responded to local community needs in many service areas. There are no requirements regarding education, income or experience for you to become an AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Volunteer.  The only requirements are that you live in Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, or Iron Counties and are 55 and better. We offer volunteers flexibility, choice, variety, and assist you in finding volunteer assignments that match your interests and abilities. Continuous follow-up, recognition, and referral are also provided.

As an AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Volunteer, you will be eligible for program benefits that include transportation reimbursement, insurance coverage, and annual recognition.
