Who We Are

The BRICK Ministries is an effort between our Covenant Churches, the larger faith community, businesses, and residents who share our mission and vision of compassionately helping people in need, serving residents of Ashland and Bayfield Counties. The BRICK offers a Food Shelf Program and Benevolence Program. These programs focus on providing resources to achieve the vision of building relationships to change people’s circumstances and lives through Christ.

Our Mission: The BRICK lives Christ’s message to compassionately love and respect those in need.
Our Vision: To provide services and build relationships to change people’s circumstances and lives through Christ.

What We Do

The BRICK’s staff and volunteers directly provide: Monthly supplies of food available at food shelves in Ashland, Cable, Mellen, and Cornucopia in northwest Wisconsin. Through our Benevolence Program, we are able to provide emergency financial assistance for families facing utility disconnections, eviction, homelessness, and other economic crises. Additionally, we work on dialoguing with participants about referrals, budget guidance, healthy choices and responsible decisions.
