A home is more than 4 walls and a roof.  Through the effective re-use of donated items, theExchange collaborates with social service organizations, schools and ministries to provide furniture and essential home goods to community members in need.   A 501 (C) 3 under Shelter Development, we are a grass roots organization which developed following the sprint to house homeless veterans in 2016.  We now work with over 30 agencies that serve a wide population and provide housing assistance to those who are struggling or starting over.  

We accept and pick up donations of gently used furniture and home goods - including small appliances, mattresses, and many items that would otherwise go to a landfill.  We are a leader in Re-Use!    We then sort and organize our stock much like a retail store.   Advocates are invited to bring in their community members to shop for the items they need to provide the basics to fill their home.  Once the items are selected, they take with them what they are able, or we schedule a delivery as needed.  Items are provided free of charge to the recipient/household.
