We are looking for frozen homemade meal donations to help support our clients. We will accept anywhere from 1-30 meals per week. Please contact volunteerdir@advocates-oz.org or 262-284-3577 x6 for more details!

Welcome and Assist donors at blood drives throughout the county and at our Monday blood drive at the Agra Pavilion in Merrill as well as other local community blood drives!

Blood Drive Registration is one way that you can help at the Community Blood Center. The only real "job requirement" is a personal desire to help others. Volunteer orientation and training are provided.

Volunteer opportunities are available on a variety of days, times, and locations, and we just ask that you volunteer at least once per month.

Community Health Centers are seeking donations of homemade masks for their patients and health care providers. Mask donations will be sent to health centers serving members of the community who are at a particularly high risk of COVID-19 exposure including people experiencing homelessness and migrant/seasonal agricultural workers. After the needs of these clinics have been met, mask donations gathered through this program will be made available to all Community Health Centers in Wisconsin. Blood donation is an essential service to the community!

Cancer does not stop. Chemotherapy cannot get rescheduled. Emergency surgery still happens. Our community will continue to rely on volunteer blood donors in the coming weeks and months, because there is no substitute. Blood centers and blood donors are recognized as essential critical infrastructure during the response to COVID-19.

We need research done to find local and national resources for our families.  Topics include transportation, basic needs. holistic assistance, medical condition specific, to help to name a few.  

Faith in Action is now offering rides to seniors for personal appointments (including visits to spouses, family, and friends living in another facility or in the hospital, exercise classes, church and community activities, beauty salons and barber shops, etc.)
