Volunteer Shifts: Residential Pick Ups Thursday: 8:30 am-2 pm Saturday: 9 am-1 pmBusiness Pick Ups Wednesday & Friday: 9:30 am-1 pmDonation Pick Up Assistant Roles & Responsibilities: Assist the truck driver to pick up donations in the community Greet and thank donors (represent Habitat and ReStore in a positive manner) Load donations onto truck Fill out donation slips Answer truck phone and call donors before pick ups Ability to clearly explain ReStore's mission Assist with unloading and organizing donations at the ReStoreDesired Skills & Experience: Age 18+ Able to do heavy lifting (100+ lbs) Able to talk on the phone and provide customer serviceTraining & Resources Provided: 1/2 hour orientation Truck driver is always present to answer questions while completing pick upsWhat's in it for you?
