WXPR Public Radio is looking for someone to upload music information (artist name, label company, cd title, composer, etc) from various cd's, mp3's and other forms of technology to our online database. The individual will be working closely with WXPR On-Air Hosts and ensuring their music playlists will be available online in an efficient and reliable format. Additional Requirements: The Volunteer Online Music Manager should be enthusiastic and passionate about the digital music industry. We are looking for someone to help our Volunteer On-Air Hosts will uploading playlists from the WXPR Music Programs.

As an independent, community supported public radio station; WXPR is always looking to add new volunteers to our staff. In fact, WXPR Public Radio could not exist without volunteers! Volunteer On-Air Hosts are entitled to training in broadcasting basics and then on-air training. Constructive evaluations of broadcasting techniques are provided to enhance the radio experience. Additional Requirements: As a Volunteer WXPR On-Air Host, certain things are expected. They include technical competence, appropriate conduct, and a commitment of time and professional representation of the station to the community. And of course, providing our listeners with great music from the following genres: blues, bluegrass, classical, big band, folk, jazz, roots, polka and world.

WXPR Public Radio is looking for someone to help with the day-to-day routine tasks necessary to keep the office functioning. Additional Requirements: Volunteer should be able to utilize their basic computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and desktop publishing, office assistants perform a variety of basic business procedures. Overall, individual should strive to ensure the mission of WXPR.

WXPR Public Radio is looking for someone who will help ensure WXPR's Social Media Strategy. This role coordinates with the Development Director and other full-time staff. Other duties may apply with the knowledge and skills of the volunteer. *This position may also be completed as an non-paid internship* Additional Requirements: Requirements for the volunteer position will require an understanding of social media platforms (Facebook,Youtube, Twitter, etc.) and how they can be deployed in an effective manner.
