Volunteer: The Creative Kids Club 2025Come join us for a creative arts club designed to teach participants the basics of connecting with others through theater activities with the integration of arts, music, movement, and hands on learning experiences. Each session will be thematic in nature and will provide participants with exposure to new learning, and time to practice and showcase their newly learned skills. Goals of the Club: Increase awareness in one’s own creative art ability and self-expression Interacting socially with others Increase an individual’s physical and emotional control Increase self-esteem Have fun and make friends We need some of our great volunteers to help support this fun program! Volunteers will be partnered up with club participants to support them as needed. The club will meet in our newly expanded multi-purpose space at our office in Wauwatosa - easy to get to! Dates & Themes: May 17 - Disney: The World of Make Believe June 21 – Learning about what makes us Happy & Healthy! July 19th - Great Lake Adventures: Boats, Fishing, and Aquatic Life August 16th – Animals at the Zoo September 20th – Comic Book Characters: Drawing and Dressing up October 18th – Silly & Scary Monster Party November 15th - Hollywood: Let’s Be Movie Stars! December 20th - Holiday Lights: Kwanza, Christmas, Hanukkah, The Solstice and more Volunteer Role: Volunteers will be working directly with the participants serving as a "coach" to help them be as fully involved in the club as possible. A coaching session for volunteers will start at 9:30 just prior to the club session to best prepare the volunteer to support the participants. Since volunteers will be working directly with our kids, this is a two-part registration process.
