Volunteer: Emergency Food Pantry SupportJoin our team of Emergency Food Pantry Volunteers! Three times a week we conduct Food Pantry at the Bay View Community Center! We are a choice pantry and allow our clients to pick what we have to offer! We also supply diapers, kid snacks, and frozen food! Our Volunteers help operate the food pantry store, sort incoming donations, prepare fresh garden produce and process bread donations. Food Pantry Hours: Monday: 4-6pm Wednesday: 4-6pm Saturday: 11:00am-1:30pm We're looking for those interested in making a 2-3 hour a week commitment. We're looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who is willing to help us with whatever task is needed on any given week! Tasks may change weekly and could include things like inventorying, shredding, changing out bulletin boards, sorting food donations, folding bags for our food pantry, organizing toys in our kids room, assisting with mailings, etc. This is a flexible opportunity, unity and we are looking for volunteers who are available on a weekday of their choice for a two-hour time slot between 8:30 am - 4:00 pm on a regular or semi-regular basis.
