Are you a great listener? Do you love helping people find the perfect gift? Do you have an interest in hospital volunteering, but looking for a non-clinical role? The Gift Shop is the place for you!
We are looking for caring, committed volunteers to assist in the Gift Shop by interacting with patients, visitors, and staff who come to the Gift Shop for retail therapy. Volunteers answer questions, operate a cash register, assist families with placing flower and gift orders, and help make the Gift Shop a welcoming, peaceful environment.
Being a part of the Gift Shop team is a unique opportunity to support a variety of causes in our community. All funds raised in the Gift Shop are utilized by Gundersen Partners to enhance patient and family care, healthcare education, and community well-being.
We are looking for volunteers at the following times:
- Wednesday mornings 9:00am-1:00pm

Weekday evenings 4:30pm-7:00pm

Saturdays & Sundays 11:00am-3:00pm
(shifts are flexible based on your availablility)
Gift Shop Volunteer duties include:

Assisting customers and offering suggestions

Ringing up customer transactions

Assisting with marking merchandise and product placement

Taking phone orders for floral and gift deliveries

Being a warm, friendly presence for our patients, families, and staff
We do ask that you commit to at least six months of service
