Join us from 9:30 - 11:30 on Thursday June 28th to celebrate June Dairy Month with residents at Homme Home for the Aging. This program will be led by Homme Home staff. Volunteers will reminisce about the joys of dairy and the dairy industry in Wisconsin with residents. They will also distribute materials as needed and assist residents while learning about dairy and reminiscing about dairy. Volunteers will also assist residents to and from the program. Ideal candidates for this position are able to walk and push a wheelchair, are familiar with basic food safety procedures, feel comfortable visiting with residents, and love dairy. All volunteers at Homme Home need to complete an application and pass a background check.
